Site Rules

The Huble Homestead is a public park and a valuable local heritage site containing a priceless historic building. For this reason we ask that visitors abide by the following rules and regulations:

General Rules:
  • No smoking on site, except in designated areas.
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • Outside food is permitted, and accumulated garbage should be cleaned appropriately.
  • Guests must adhere to parking guidelines. Only those with designated handicapped parking passes are allowed in the lower parking lot.
  • Professional photographers are asked to source “Huble Homestead Historic Site” on published materials.

Site Rental Regulations:
  • Outside food is allowed, subject to conditions agreed upon in the rental contract, and accumulated garbage should be cleaned appropriately.
  • No projectile confetti or rice allowed – flower petals are permitted.
  • Guests must adhere to parking guidelines. Only those with designated handicapped parking passes, and two vehicles for the rental party, are allowed in the lower parking lot.
  • There will be a fee of $20.00 per quarter hour for time spent on site over and above the declared departure time on the Rental Agreement contract.

Important Information
  • There is no running water or electricity on this site.
  • Drinking water is available at the General Store.
  • Hand washing stations are set up at the BBQ and at the outhouses behind the Trapper’s cabin.
  • Outhouses are located in the upper parking lot and behind the Trapper’s Cabin.
  • A wheelchair accessible outhouse is located between the Blacksmith Shop and the Handicapped parking lot.
  • The General Store sells hot and cold drinks, hot lunches, desserts, snacks, and a collection of consignment items.
