Barn Dance - Saturday, July 31
Help us kick off the Homestead Day weekend with an old-fashioned barn dance on a Saturday night! Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes out for this evening event, which will feature a delicious pioneer supper and some toe-tapping tunes. Tickets for this event must be purchased in advance, so be sure to buy early, space is limited! This event is non-alcoholic and runs from 5:00-9:00. Get your tickets at our in-town office, #202-1685 3rd Avenue (above Books & Co). $10 child (4-12), $15 youth (13-17), $20 adult, $50 Family Pack (2 adults, 2 children).

Homestead Days - Sunday, August 1 & Monday, August 2
Join us Sunday and Monday for our premier pioneer event, which is so jam-packed with activities that it requires two days of celebration! On both days visit the blacksmith and see sheepherding and pioneer demonstrations, ride the ponies or the Railway Museum's mini rail, participate in the many old fashioned contests, visit the history displays, and bid on a homemade lunch in the boxed lunch social. On Sunday only, hear the musical stylings of Stamo, learn to make soap, and watch or show your stuff in the Strongest Man Competition (heat dependent). Monday features a demonstration by the Northern Twisters at 1:00 and blackpowder shooting (to the dismay of many dogs!). There's activities for everyone, so bring your family to share this step back in time!

Pioneer Kids Day Camp - Saturday, August 21
Our successful Pioneer Day Camp is back for another year! Targeted at children aged 7-10, day camp participants will learn about the lives of pioneer children through hands on activities, chores and old-fashioned games. Site tours will still be available to our regular visitors. Only 20 spaces are available, so book your child's space early. Contact us to register.

Summer Harvest - Sunday, September 5 & Monday, September 6
Join us for our last big event of the summer! All visitors receive 10% off their store purchases, 20% off for members, making this the perfect weekend to pick up that item you’ve had your eye on all summer long! A special lunch menu will be featured on both days, and vegetables from the Huble garden will be available for sale. With heritage cooking demonstrations taking place throughout the day, and plenty of pioneer activities for the kids to take part in, this two-day event is the perfect way to ease into fall.

Thanksgiving - Monday, October 11
Our old-fashioned Thanksgiving celebration, always a family favourite, features harvest activities like pumpkin carving, scarecrow making, and apple bobbing! Kids can create and take home pioneer crafts, and our staff will make sure the General Store has plenty of homemade apple cider to keep you warm! Take advantage of our special Thanksgiving menu, and have a slice of delicious pumpkin pie for dessert! This will be your last chance to shop in your General Store, making this a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping!

Halloween Spooktacular - Saturday, October 23
Join us for the scariest Halloween location in town! Take our spooky haunted house tour, go trick or treating, carve a pumpkin and roast some marshmallows! There will be lots of activities for both young and old; however, parental supervision is required for young children. Admission by donation, tours $3 per person. (5:00-9:00)
