Seniors' Day

In light of the growing concerns around COVID-19, and with the health and safety of the public in mind, this event has been cancelled for 2020. If you have any questions, or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out. 

Seniors' Day a Huble Homestead

Seniors’ Day is the perfect chance for seniors who have difficulty visiting Huble Homestead to make their way to the historic site. Participants can pre-register for this event, catch the charter at one of the local pick-up points, and visit the homestead for a hot lunch and dessert, entertainment, guided tours, and shopping in the General Store! 

Included in the $15.00 fee is lunch; After lunch and dessert there will be entertainment. Participants will then be free to take a guided tour with a Huble Homestead staff member, watch heritage demonstrations such as ice cream making and blacksmithing, and shop in the General Store.

Huble Homestead Historic Site is a 30 minute drive north of Prince George, BC. Leave the city behind, and make your way up Highway 97, before turning off on Mitchell Road to continue another 6 kilometres down a well-maintained dirt road.

Huble Homestead is dog friendly and open daily for guided tours and shopping in the General Store. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family.
