Paging all seniors! If you've never been to the homestead, or are wanting to return, this is the event for you!
Sunday, June 9 - 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM
This event is generously sponsored by Pacific Western Transport.
Seniors’ Day is the perfect chance for seniors who have difficulty visiting Huble Homestead to make their way to the historic site. Participants can pre-register for this event, catch the charter sponsored by the always generous Pacific Western Transit at one of the local pick-up points, and visit the homestead for a hot lunch and dessert, entertainment, guided tours, and shopping in the General Store!
Included in the $15.00 fee is lunch, which offers a choice between a hamburger, cheeseburger, or bacon corn chowder and a bun. After lunch and dessert there will be musical entertainment provided by Erika Callewaert. Participants will then be free to take a guided tour with a Huble Homestead staff member, watch heritage demonstrations such as ice cream making and blacksmithing, and shop in the General Store.
Call (250) 564-7033 to register your spot today, or contact us through our website.
All Seniors' Day participants receive 10% off all store merchandise, excluding food.
