Events & Activities
To ensure the health and safety of our visitors and staff, guests are asked to comply with public health orders and travel restrictions to ensure the health and safety of our visitors and staff. We ask that you not visit Huble Homestead if you, or anyone in your household, is displaying symptoms of COVID-19, you have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days, or you have travelled outside of Canada within the past 14 days.
Visitors to Huble Homestead are required to wear face masks, or coverings, in all indoor spaces. If you require a face mask, please ask a staff member, and one will be provided to you. We encourage physical distancing during self-guided activities.
Every weekend at Huble Homestead visitors are invited enjoy different self-guided activities.
Self-led activities are included with an admission donation - check in at the General Store to pick up your envelope of supplies. Don't forget we are also home to a number of geocaches!
Admission to the Huble Homestead is by donation. Your donations are put towards programming, collections, and site maintenance. The suggested donation is:
Adults - $5.00
Children and Seniors - $3.00
Family - $10.00
Your donations help us provide affordable activities at events and maintain the historic site.
We also acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia for this public program.

October 2 - 3
Crunch through the fallen leaves as you explore the homestead! Check in at the General Store to get your treasure hunt, and learn more about how settlers like the Huble family would have prepared for winter! Find the special orange leaves on site - each leaf will send you to the next location, and you'll write down your stops as you go! Once done, bring the completed sheet to the General Store to get your prize!

October 9 - 10 | Old Fashioned Thanksgiving (Saturday – Sunday)
Visit Huble Homestead for the last weekend of the season! Open 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and Sunday, October 9 & 10, this is the perfect way to burn off some energy before tucking into the turkey!
Take a guided tour from one of our knowledgeable staff members, or explore the historic site by taking part in our Thanksgiving themed self-led activity! Collect a craft kit from the General Store to create your own paper pumpkin - you can put it together at the historic site or take it home to make!
Get a head start on your Christmas shopping, and help us pack up, by taking 10% off all merchandise in the General Store during our season-end sale - 20% off for members! Peruse our selection of locally made goods and treat yourself to a steaming cup of apple cider or hot chocolate, a slice of pumpkin pie, or a hamburger or hot dog meal from the BBQ!
