Take in the breathtaking fall backdrop as we prepare to close for the season!

Grab a sweater or jacket and head to the homestead to take in the crisp fall fair and admire the autumn colours! Warm up with a steaming cup or apple cider or hot chocolate as you take part in the family friendly festivities, such as the annual scarecrow making contest, heritage demonstrations, and old-fashioned games!

Treat yourself to dessert with a slice of pie or a bit of candy and start your Christmas shopping early by perusing our year-end sale in the General Store. Enjoy the picturesque homestead while you take part in a treasure hunt, learn about the site's history through a guided tour, or simply relax in the great outdoors amongst the changing leaves!

Huble Homestead Historic Site is a 30 minute drive north of Prince George, BC. Leave the city behind and make your way up Highway 97 for 40 kilometres, before turning off on Mitchell Road to continue another 6 kilometres down a well-maintained dirt road.

Huble Homestead is dog friendly. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family.

We acknowledge the financial assistance of the Province of British Columbia.
