Saturday, May 28 & Sunday, May 29 - 10:30am to 4:00pm
This fun and inexpensive day will have you exploring the homestead with the entire family as you all work together to find all the items on a scavenger hunt list! However, the list doesn’t just have things to find – there are also a number of tasks your group will have to complete before our staff will declare you finished!
Extend your day by playing one of our popular lawn games, try out the stilts, and treat yourself to a fresh piece of pie in the General Store! The BBQ will be serving a pancake breakfast from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, burgers and hot dogs will be on the menu. This weekend, the Seebach & Huble General Store is offering 10% off all Watkins products.
Huble Homestead Historic Site is a 30 minute drive north of Prince George, BC. Leave the city behind and make your way up Highway 97 for 40 kilometres, before turning off on Mitchell Road to continue another 6 kilometres down a well-maintained dirt road.
Huble Homestead is dog friendly and open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm for guided tours and shopping in the General Store. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family.
