Sunday, October 9 - 10:30am to 4:00pm
Help us give thanks for another great season by joining us for a Thanksgiving celebration!
Push away from the table and take a break from the turkey by heading out to Huble Homestead to enjoy the fresh, fall air! This event features scarecrow making, crafts, and games for the entire family.
Enjoy the changing colours of the leaves while you sip from a hot drink, or sample the soup from the special autumn menu. Don't miss your last chance to shop in the General Store, and take advantage of our season-end 10% off sale!
Bring the family out and enter the scarecrow making competition, enjoy a self-guided activity, and make a craft. Site tours will be available for those wanting to learn more about the history of the homestead!
Huble Homestead Historic Site is a 30 minute drive north of Prince George, BC. Leave the city behind and make your way up Highway 97 for 40 kilometres, before turning off on Mitchell Road to continue another 6 kilometres down a well-maintained dirt road.
Huble Homestead is dog friendly. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family.
We acknowledge the financial assistance of the Province of British Columbia.
