Take a delicious step back in time at Taste of the Past!

Join as at the homestead as staff demonstrate old-fashioned food skills such as butter making, ice cream making, cheese making, and more! Come at the start to enjoy all the demonstrations, or join for the one that piques your interest.

Take on the weekend's self-led activity with your family, or just relax in sun and fresh air.

Play one of our popular lawn games, try out the stilts, and treat yourself to a fresh piece of pie in the General Store! The BBQ will be serving a pancake breakfast from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, burgers and hot dogs will be on the menu. Peruse the General Store, where in keeping with the food theme, all jam and canned goods are 10% off.

Huble Homestead Historic Site is a 30 minute drive north of Prince George, BC. Leave the city behind and make your way up Highway 97 for 40 kilometres, before turning off on Mitchell Road to continue another 6 kilometres down a well-maintained dirt road.

Huble Homestead is dog friendly and open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm for guided tours and shopping in the General Store. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family.
